The region of Mont-Tremblant will be hosting
the first edition of the

50+ Winter Games

from February 5^th till 10^th 2008

 

A first winter multi-sport event organized
for Baby Boomers (50 years old or better)
from here and abroad

 

The first year’s program proposes quality
alpine skiing, X-country skiing, snowshoeing and hockey events

February 9^th ---------------------------------- (Mont Tremblant resort)

10 AM to noon       Giant Slalom (GS #1) — Qualifiers

1  to 3 PM             Giant Slalom (GS #1) — Finals

 

February 9^th --------------------------------- (Domaine Saint-Bernard)

9 AM to 1 PM         Classical 7.5 km and 15 km races

 

Hockey tournament—Two categories

Sixteen teems maximum

February 8^th ----------------------------- (Mont-Tremblant City arena)

9 PM                    Start of 4 day hockey tournament

February 10^th --------------------------- (Mont-Tremblant City arena)

2 PM                    End of hockey tournament

The 50+ Winter Games will be held between February 5th and 10th 2008. The Games will offer different competitive events including a hockey tournament as well as Alpine, X-Country and Snowshoeing races.
